Danone has revealed its senior management is working on a “plan to adapt the company to the new environment and the new challenges of the sector” amid a report in France CFO Cécile Cabanis has decided to leave the Alpro owner.

French weekly business magazine Challenges said today (16 October) Cabanis, Danone’s CFO and EVP strategy, tech, data, cycles and procurement, has chosen to exit the business as chairman and CEO Emmanuel Faber, the publication reported, looks to “fundamentally reshape” the business.

Challenges suggested Danone could move from a model of four business divisions based on products to one on geography. It also reported the changes could have led to a split in the roles of chairman and CEO but claimed Faber did not want to relinquish his “power”.
